10 Lives Productions and GFM Animation today announced that as well as voicing the characters of Cameron and Kirk (the hilariously good hearted tough-guy twins), ZAYN MALIK has also written and performed original songs for the animated feature film 10 LIVES, including a duet with co-star and female lead SIMONE ASHLEY (Bridgerton). Zayn, who is currently in the studio, putting the finishing touches to his highly anticipated album with Mercury Records, also serves as the executive music producer for the film, overseeing the creative direction for the film’s music.

10 Lives is the story of a pampered & selfish cat who takes for granted the lives he has been dealt. After carelessly losing his ninth life he begs to be given a second chance, an opportunity to show he can learn from his mistakes. Eventually his wish is granted, but with certain stipulations…
The comedy also features the voices of Mo Gilligan, Simone Ashley, Sophie Okonedo, Dylan Llewellyn, Jeremy Swift and Bill Nighy.
The film is directed by Chris Jenkins (Duck Duck Goose, Home, Suf’s Up) and produced by Guy Collins and Sean Feeney for 10 Lives Productions Ltd, alongside Martin Metz and Adrian Politowski for Align, Yann Zenou for Quad, Valérie d’Auteuil and André Rouleau for Caramel Films, and Louis-Philippe Vermette for The Happy Producers. Casting is by Robyn Klein and Jeremy Ross. The animation studio is L’Atelier Animation in Montreal.
This is the first fully home-grown film for GFM Animation, who produced the film and are handling international sales. The film is screening to distributors as a market premier at this week’s American Film Market. WME Independent are handling domestic sales.
